Description

This tool helps compare various theories of change such as lobbying, direct action and civil disobedience. It considers them from low confrontation to high confrontation and by applying various considerations, like when to use the strategy based on political context, or political leadership style in terms of use of power. The tool helps create a mental map or narrative depiction for an overall understanding of how change activities, assumptions and thinking interplay to move from a current situation to a desired change. The theories of change is helpful in strategy sessions and in learning about the history of social change when different approaches are used.
